Ageing well is important because it directly impacts your quality of life, independence and happiness in later years. Here’s why it matters:

1. Better Health Outcomes: Healthy ageing reduces the risk of chronic imbalances such as heart disease, diabetes, and dementia.

2. Maintained Independence: Staying physically and mentally fit means you’re more likely to live on your own terms, without relying heavily on others.

3. Improved Mental Well-being: A sense of purpose, social connection, and staying mentally active help prevent loneliness and depression.

4. Reduced Healthcare Costs: Preventive care and a healthy lifestyle can significantly cut long-term medical expenses.

5. Positive Role Modelling: Ageing well sets an example for younger generations, showing that growing older doesn’t have to mean decline.

In short, ageing well helps you live longer, healthier, and with the dignity and joy you deserve.

I have always loved the Tissue Salts for the real impact they have on cellular health and knowing that your cells govern your well-being daily then it is very fitting to add in Tissue Salts to your regime to set up preventive care no matter what age you are right now.

Tissue Salts walk with you internally setting up the platform for all your cells to be activated to support connective tissue, blood, bone structure, hair, skin, nails, cell coats, nerve, muscle cells, digestive cells and cell coats to be supported daily. This is why I call Tissue Salt the GPS for ageing well.

The reason Dr Schuessler selected 12 Tissue Salts was the result from his research showing that the body needed all 12 for the cells to be supported at all times and through symptoms we gain knowledge of what we are deficient in. I love Comb 12 as a starting point for anyone who has left their health unattended for a long while, is dependent on medication and finds it difficult to eat a plant-based diet.

Adding Comb 12 will support your spark plugs so the inner you starts to experience vitality and the reduction of fatigue.

Moving into the single Tissue Salts which I believe best support healthy ageing is also a good starting point after being on Comb 12 or just starting on one or two of the single Tissue Salts which best suit your health at this time…

SILICA:

Do you wake up and your skin lacks lustre and doesn’t look alive? Silica is the Tissue Salt found in your connective tissue, hair nails, blood, bile, bone and nerve sheaths. It acts as an internal cleanser and internal conditioner with the end result being skin & hair looks more alive with the natural glow again. Did you know that your Calcium will be better absorbed when this key mineral is circulating at the cellular level as Silica is key in moving your Calcium where it needs to be.

CALC FLUOR:

I have always loved combining this with the Calc Fluor Tissue Salt Cream to support any muscle strain, varicose veins, cracked skin & haemorrhoids. I love taking this tissue salt for my skin elasticity and applying the Calc Fluor Cream on my hands, neck and decolletage morning and night – so effective.

FERR PHOS:

This mineral is found in every cell in the body and supports oxygen at the cellular level reducing inflammation, redness and throbbing. We know that oxygen is crucial for cellular respiration, the process by which cells produce energy (ATP) in the mitochondria and without oxygen, we can’t sustain life or the repair processes that keep cells functioning, especially as we age.

We know that accumulated oxidative damage is a key driver of ageing and age-related diseases (e.g., Alzheimer’s, cardiovascular disease). This mineral is vital for energy and to maintain free flowing oxygen at the cellular level.

MAG PHOS

Magnesium deficiency is common and as we age, we need this mineral more. A deficiency can contribute to age-related decline, particularly in muscle function and overall health. While total serum magnesium levels may not change with age, intracellular magnesium levels, especially in red blood cells, tend to decrease with age. Magnesium is crucial for various bodily functions, and its deficiency can lead to a range of health issues associated with the ageing cycle. Tissue Salts being intracellular food, support cells by regulating mineral levels at the cellular level. Many people take crude Magnesium, mostly in the evening, and I recommend that Mag Phos is always included to be taken over the day to deliver your crude Magnesium effectively throughout your body.

CALC SULPH

I always include this mineral in my ageing-well pack as it is known as nature’s corset, supporting the release of pus and other unhealthy fluid build-up, to be released from an ulcer, for it to be healed naturally.
Peripheral circulation becomes less efficient with old age. Varicose veins – the one-way valves that stop blood from travelling backwards in the vein stop working as effectively and are more common as we age and adding Calc Fluor along with Calc Sulph will provide further effective support to your cells and this process.

“Ageing well begins with a proactive approach to physical, mental, and emotional health. Staying physically active is crucial along with a balanced, nutritious diet, maintaining social connections, along with managing stress and sleep effectively is key in maintaining overall health and vitality in your best years as they are called the ‘golden years’.”

*** Tissue Salts do not interfere with any health regime or prescriptive medication you may be taking daily. Simply select the tissue salts from my list and remembering they must be taken at least 4 times per day for a good few months for optimum health and vitality. If you feel you need all the tissue salts, I have detailed, then simply start with Comb 12 for a few months and move to up to two single tissue salts to ensure you take them as prescribed (4 times per day for at least a month).
