Is there iron found in Organic Greens?
Organic Greens has no added iron. Some of the ingredients contain iron naturally, especially green leafy plants, so this does contribute to your daily iron requirement. If you are iron deficient or anaemic, you will need to still follow the advice of your healthcare professional and add a suitable iron supplement to your daily routine. Please note that your Iron supplement must be taken at a different time to Organic Greens for best absorption results.
Are there any concerns with taking Organic Greens while I am on prescription medications?
Organic Greens is a food, however you should inform your healthcare professional of any significant lifestyle or dietary changes if you are taking prescription medications, as it is important that they are aware of everything you take and can assess your individual health needs.
Are there any side effects from taking Organic Greens?
Generally Organic Greens is very well tolerated. Organic Greens contains ingredients that cleanse and detox the system, thus some people may experience mild symptoms when you first start taking. This may include mild nausea, bloating, excessive flatulence, general gut discomfort or a minor skin irritation.
If this does occur, we recommend reducing the dose of Organic Greens by half while your body adjusts (approx. 2 – 4 weeks), and then gradually increase again.
Can I take Organic Greens if I am also pregnant/breastfeeding?
We recommend consulting with a health care professional whilst pregnant or lactating prior to taking Organic Greens. It’s important that care is taken when taking ingredients that may stimulate a detoxing response while pregnant or breastfeeding and many practitioners will reduce the dose and monitor closely. It’s also important that your individual health needs are considered.

Is Vital Plant Protein hydrolysed?
No Vital Protein is not hydrolysed. Other proteins may be hydrolysed or broken down to help increase the absorption of the protein. Vital Protein already has a very high digestible rating (98%) which is based the low anti-nutritional factors content, making it therefore very well tolerated and digested. Because the pea protein isolate in Vital Protein is of high purity it contains all the essential amino acids and in significant amounts.

How do I take Vital Plant Protein?
Dissolve or mix two heaped tablespoons in 200mls of water or milk of your choice, yoghurt or blended into a smoothie. Consume 1-2 times per day depending on how much protein you want in your diet. Or take as directed by your practitioner.

Every batch of Vital Plant Protein golden pea protein is tested for heavy metals using two internationally approved test methods. A heavy metals statement from Cosucra confirms levels are within regulatory guidelines. Results show barely detectable trace amounts — less than a fraction of a part per million — for arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury, which is significantly below the maximum levels considered safe by FSANZ.

What is the difference between Vital Plant Protein and Vital Proteins by Nestlé?
Vital Plant Protein is our 100% plant-based protein powder — dairy-free, soy-free, and suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Vital Proteins (owned by Nestlé) is a separate brand that primarily offers collagen-based supplements derived from animal sources such as bovine or marine collagen, geared toward skin, hair, joint, and bone health. How does the Marine Magnesium get sourced?
Vital Marine Magnesium contains two forms of naturally sourced magnesium. + Aquamin S is a calcareous marine algae (Lithothamnion sp). Adults: Take 2 capsules daily.
- Exceeding 2 capsules daily may result in a mild bowel reaction (diarrhoea). Should this occur (even if taking the recommended dose), take 1 capsule twice a day.
- Dietary supplements should not replace a balanced diet. Discontinue use if you develop a sensitivity to the formula. Do not use if induction seal is broken.
