Atopic dermatitis (AD) is often the first manifestation of atopic diseases and is increasing in incidence in the developing world, among adults and children. A recent longitudinal observational study conducted in Italy record a therapeutic effect of homeopathy in atopic children. Another interesting observation revealed by the data showed the paediatric patients treated with homeopathy seem to show a reduced tendency to continue suffering from AD or develop asthma into adulthood.
